Our story:

A journey built on passion, perseverance, and honey bees

For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by honey bees. I spent years learning about them, reading, and dreaming of one day having an apiary of my own.  In 2021 Melissa and I decided it was time to turn that dream into reality. Together, we started our beekeeping business with a passion for honey bees, a love of the outdoors, and a commitment to producing pure, high-quality local honey.

Like many beekeepers, we quickly learned that this journey would require patience, dedication, and perseverance.

The road has not always been easy. One of the most difficult moments came after a challenging winter when we lost every colony we owned. After months of preparing our bees for winter, opening hive after hive in the spring and finding them silent was heartbreaking. Each colony represented countless hours of work, care, and learning, and losing them all was a devastating experience.

But setbacks are also opportunities to grow. Instead of giving up, we used that experience as motivation to learn, improve, and become better stewards of our bees. We studied harder, invested in better equipment, and refined our management practices with each passing season.

Today, we manage between 50 and 100 hives across multiple beeyards throughout the Miramichi area, with a goal of responsibly growing our operation to 150–200 hives. We are also proud to participate in blueberry pollination, supporting an important industry that relies on strong, healthy honey bee colonies. Being part of this agricultural community is something we value greatly.

Every hive represents the lessons we have learned, the challenges we have overcome, and our commitment to raising healthy bees and producing quality local honey.

We are proud of the journey that brought us here and grateful to everyone who supports our small business. Every jar of honey is a reminder of the hard work, resilience, and passion behind our bees.

Thank you for being part of our story.
